The Future!

In June I graduated from a local Community College (also known as Junior College) with my Associates in General Studies.  After High School, I had no idea what I wanted to do.  I was being pressured by my school to go to college, and growing up I was told that going to college was the next step.  So I went, without a major in mind, as long as I could take the lowest form of math. Three years later, and I now have decided what I want to do.  I've decided that I want to go into medical coding, which means I have to go back to school.   If I were to go back to where I graduated from (I don't really want to go back there, I'm not a big fan of the people there.)  Then I could opt out of taking four classes because of my previous degree.  But, what I really want to do is move out and closer to a different school and go there for the year and a half that it is supposed to take.  I would get to meet a whole different set of people, and I would be living on my own, away from the people that I have gotten used to, and the people I'm not fond of.

I have a plan that I have to set into motion that will take around two years to fulfill.  I hope that I still know how to be in school in two years.  So I'm going to post my goals that I will be updating on every few months or so...

  1. Get a job.
  2. Get another job.
  3. Keep writing, even if it's not on an educational level.
  4. Save money, maybe even put the money I do have into CDs or something.
  5. Travel to the places that offer my program to see if I like the area.
  6. Read up on the program and make sure I want to go to that school, and not another.
  7. Apply to the school.
  8. Graduate.
  9. Get job in the area of study.
  10. Start full life.
Hopefully in five years I will have started my life with no hiccups.
